Louisville has a long history of making the community desirable for its residents and finding a home near a park is not a problem.   In 1892, noted New York Central Park designer Frederick Law Olmstead designed a system of parks in the Louisville area, which were strategically placed so the citizens could easily access and frequent the parks.
